ELECTRODE HOT WATER BOILER

Electrode Hot Water Boiler

Vapor Power electric hot water boilers are designed to provide fast, efficient and economical hot water for heating and process through the use of electric resistance elements. The boiler controls automatically energies and de-energises the boiler through the steps  of elements to maintain the desired water temperature. The minimum efficiency of electric resistance storage water heaters is about 0.90 (depending on tank volume), and the best available are 0.95 EF.

Electric hot water boilers are used when the only primary energy source is electricity or to convert an existing excess of electrical energy into heat in so-called "power to heat" systems. Electrical energy is converted to thermal energy by individual bolt-on heating elements that can be individually replaced for easy maintenance. Each boiler is pre-wired, preset and skid mounted for quick and easy on-site installation. In addition to a large selection of standard models, the Marshall Fowler also offers individual solutions in terms of size, design, voltage, power and control. If you compare the efficiency of an electric water heater to a gas appliance, electric heaters are more efficient. Although gas water heaters are cheaper to run monthly due to the low cost of natural gas, a gas water heater uses more energy to operate and releases waste into the environment. The average gas heater takes between 30 and 40 minutes to fully heat up the water in its tank. The average electric heater takes about twice as long as the average gas heater to fully heat up the water in its tank, so you can expect it to take between an hour and an hour and 20 minutes to heat up.
