MARSHALL-FOWLER (SA) (PTY) LIMITED was formed in 1974 in partnership with MARSHALL-FOWLER of Gainsborough in Britain to undertake the local manufacture under license of electrode steam and hot water boilers.
In 1975 we acquired the UK shareholding in MARSHALL-FOWLER (SA) (PTY) LIMITED and in 1980 we established our own factory in Randfontein to manufacture and service electrodes boilers and ancillary equipment for the South African thermal engineering field and neighbouring states.
The MARSHALL-FOWLER range of electrode boilers was developed and adapted to suit local conditions and in 1984 we introduced our revolutionary mini steam generator which incorporates all the features and controls unique to the MARSHALL-FOWLER boilers.
Most of the steam boilers are supplied to hospitals, abattoirs, mining, food processing and textile industries and for many other allied applications. The hot water boilers are widely used for air conditioning, Humidity control and certain applications in abattoirs and wherever hot water are required. An electrode steam conditioner for sterilization of soil and concrete was also developed.
Our range of electrode boilers extends from 10 kW to 3mW up to 3,5mW on the shell boiler range and activities were extended to shell boilers, humidifiers, unfired steam generators, calorifiers, heat exchangers and lately, designing and building grease kettles, convector plates, water cooling roofs for furnaces, electrical control panels, earth moving equipment and the supply of spares to the mining and steel industries.
All equipment manufactured are in accordance with a Quality Control System and are manufactured in strict accordance with a controlled production programme which satisfies the requirements of EN ISO 9001 1994.
